About the X-SUMMER Program
Led by NYU Dance Education graduate and ABT Certified Teacher Xinyi Zhang, the 2026 Xinyi Dance Studio Summer Intensive offers a unique training experience that blends the artistry of Chinese dance with the technical foundations of ballet and contemporary dance. Designed for passionate young dancers, each two-week session focuses on a distinct artistic theme, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in movement exploration, performance training, and original choreography creation.
X-Program Overview
Program Dates: June 29 – August 21, 2026
Location: Xinyi Dance Studio | Jersey City
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Age Group: Children & Teens (placement based on age and experience)
Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable $100 deposit per session is required to secure enrollment.
Early Bird Discount: Register and submit deposit before April 30, 2026 to receive 10% OFF tuition.
Sibling Discount: Additional 5% OFF for siblings.
Final Showcase: Every session concludes with a Friday Showcase & Pre-Competition Simulation.

Mulan: Dawn
Strength & discipline focused Chinese classical dance training.
Session 2 (7/13 – 7/24)
Dunhuang: Flying Apsaras
Explore softness, elegance, and Dunhuang-inspired movement aesthetics.
Session 3 (7/27 – 8/07)
Solar Terms: Great Heat
Modern dance and creative movement inspired by nature and the 24 Solar Terms.
Session 4 (8/10 – 8/21)
Tianshan: Gesang
Tibetan dance training featuring sleeve movement, rhythm, and traditional folk dance techniques.

Payment Deadlines
- A non-refundable $100 deposit per session is required at registration.
- Remaining tuition balance must be paid in full at least two weeks before the session start date.
- Spots are not guaranteed until deposit payment is received.
Late Payments
- A $25 late fee may be applied to overdue balances.
Refund Policy
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made at least 14 days before the session start date may receive a 50% refund of paid tuition (excluding deposit).
- No refunds will be issued after the session begins.
- Medical emergencies may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with proper documentation.
